The MasLauris estate is located in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park, in the old Provencal village of Lauris. The estate owes its logo to the pine forest that surrounds the cellar, a legacy of the Waldensians who found refuge in the Luberon in the 15th century.
With 12 hectares of vines and 4 employees, the estate produces organic wines, certified AOP Luberon. Each grape is carefully selected, the harvest is manual and the vines were replanted with massal selection in 2014.
The estate produces 9 vintages divided into 4 ranges.
The first one, "Les Terres de MasLauris" is accessible and fresh, easy to accompany and to match. It is composed of:
- Les Terres de MasLauris White 2021 : Vermentino and white Grenache.
- Les Terres de MasLauris Rosé 2021: Cinsault and Grenache.
- Les Terres de MasLauris Red 2020: Grenache and Mourvèdre.
The second, more gastronomic and complex, is made up of wines produced from more grape varieties, sometimes less common, such as Serine. It includes :
- L'Inopiné Blanc 2021: Roussane, Vermentino, Grenache blanc.
- L'Inopiné Rosé 2021: Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault.
- L'Inopiné Rouge 2020 : Serine, Carignan.
The third is made up of wines without inputs or filtration.
- Le N. Blanc 2021: Vermentino and a touch of Grenache Blanc.
- Le N. Rouge 2021: Grenache Noir, Cinsault.
The last one is the only one that makes up the range. Les Grès Rouge 2020 is a wine produced in very few bottles, only in the best years with exceptional grapes and juice. This year the wine combines Serine and Carignan.
